Our name says it all - as mechanical engineers, we develop and manufacture special machines for our customers. In addition, as a service provider, we provide support along the entire development chain - from the concept phase through design and development, the purchase of materials and services to the subsequent assembly and commissioning of machines, systems and equipment.

About us
MD Maschinenbau & Dienstleistungen GmbH develops and manufactures machines, systems and automation solutions for assembly and production. We also optimize existing production systems and carry out retrofit measures.
Our name says it all – as a special machine manufacturer and development service provider for all aspects of mechanical engineering, we see ourselves as a full-service provider and partner to our customers – and have done so for over 10 years.
Specialized in the automation and optimization of manufacturing, production and assembly processes, we support our customers from concept development and layout planning through design and development as well as subsequent production and assembly to worldwide delivery and commissioning. Subsequent service, maintenance and repair work on our own and third-party systems round off our services.

With our product groups - MD Sleeve & Shrink Technology and MD Filling Technology - we also offer standardized, established semi- and fully-automated solutions for sleeving and enhancing product packaging, as well as for filling and transferring gases such as CO2 and helium.
Today, we are one of the largest German manufacturers of sleeve machines and shrink tunnels for the application of originality, full-body, and tamper-evident sleeves, as well as the subsequent shrinking of the sleeves using hot air or steam.
In addition to our sleeve applicators and associated shrink tunnels, we also build the corresponding conveyor technology, clamping conveyors and transfer stations, cap pull-on modules, and turntables for product feeding and removal.
Our range of CO2 and helium filling and transferring systems extends from small, manually operated filling systems with 2 filling stations to fully automated filling systems with a filling capacity of over 1000 cylinders per hour.
Our portfolio includes automated solutions for quick valve assembly and disassembly, as well as our relief and cleaning solutions, and our automated sleeve removal system.
Whether it is a custom-designed special machine or one of our standard solutions, all of our machines, systems, and solutions have one thing in common: They are all designed and manufactured by us in Rheinbach, between Bonn and Euskirchen at the edge of the Eifel, and are "Made in Germany."
